These newly designed homes, crafted by the acclaimed Arias Oleastro Architectural Office (AOAO), capture the essence of Harlem's architectural legacy while seamlessly integrating modern amenities and global design influences.
Positioned in the heart of Harlem, Terra and Cielo are more than residences; they are an invitation to live in one of New York City’s most vibrant and culturally rich neighborhoods.

Architectural Vision
A Masterpiece by AOAO • Terra and Cielo exemplify the art of blending past and present. AOAO drew inspiration from Harlem’s iconic vertical townhouses, infusing the design with black iron and industrial elements that pay homage to the neighborhood's storied history. The façade, clad in weathered steel, not only complements Harlem's historic brownstones but also tells a story of timeless elegance.
DISTINCTIVE LIVING SPACES • Terra (Earth) offers a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living, featuring a private, expansive backyard perfect for entertaining and socializing. It is designed for those who value the luxury of outdoor experiences within the urban landscape. Multiple balconies extend the living space outdoors on every level, and the entire top floor is dedicated to a spacious primary bedroom suite, providing an exclusive retreat with its own private balcony and refined finishes.
• Cielo (Sky) provides an elevated experience with a sprawling terrace that offers panoramic views of Manhattan. This serene urban retreat allows residents to escape the city’s hustle while staying connected to its iconic skyline. Cielo features multiple balconies that invite natural light and fresh air into every level. The living room boasts soaring 25 - foot ceilings, creating an impressive sense of space and grandeur. The entire top floor is devoted to a luxurious primary bedroom suite, offering a secluded sanctuary high above the city.
Design Philosophy
GLOBAL INFLUENCES, LOCAL SENSIBILITY
Jorge Arias’ design for Terra and Cielo draws from his diverse architectural experiences, marrying Japanese minimalism with Italian elegance, underpinned by Argentinian traditions. The interiors are bathed in natural light, thanks to oversized windows that accentuate the 13 to 14 - foot - high ceilings, creating an atmosphere of openness and tranquility.
The design goes beyond aesthetics, fostering a seamless integration of interior and exterior spaces. Private balconies and terraces serve as extensions of the living areas, reflecting a lifestyle that values the interplay between nature and urban life.

The Harlem Experience
LIVE AT THE HEART OF HARLEM'S CULTURAL RENAISSANCE
Located in one of New York City’s most dynamic and culturally rich neighborhoods, Terra and Cielo offer residents unparalleled access to Harlem’s vibrant arts scene, diverse dining options, and community-driven spirit. The location provides an ideal blend of tranquility and connectivity, with convenient accessto local trains that make commuting and exploring the city effortless.
Harlem is more than a neighborhood; it’s a community with a deep history and a bright future, making it the perfect setting for your new home.

BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE
Sustainability is at the core of Terra and Cielo’s design. The use of weathered steel for the façade not only enhances the building's aesthetic appeal but also ensures durability with minimal maintenance, aligning with eco - friendly principles.
Inside, materials such as engineered wood with radiant heat create a comfortable and energy - efficient living space. This commitment to environmentally conscious design is reflected throughout the building, from its respect for local density to its contribution to a greener future for Harlem.
AN ARCHITECTURAL CONTRIBUTION TO HARLEM
By offering just two spacious residences rather than multiple smaller units, Terra and Cielo contribute positively to the neighborhood’s character and density, preserving the balance and integrity of this historic area.
